QR Code Guide

Available QR Code Types

  • URL: opens a website instantly.
  • Text: shows free-form text content.
  • WiFi: stores network SSID and password.
  • vCard: stores contact information for easy saving.
  • Email: opens an email client with a pre-filled template.
  • Phone: starts a direct phone call action.

Error Correction & File Format

Levels L (7%), M (15%), Q (25%), and H (30%) determine how well a QR code stays readable when partially damaged. For outdoor print use, Q or H is usually safer.

Use PNG for quick digital needs. Use SVG when you need large print quality without pixelation.

FAQ

Is my QR code data sent to the server?

No. This tool works directly in your browser using JavaScript.

What is the difference between PNG and SVG?

PNG is great for web and chat. SVG is better for print because it is vector-based.

Which error correction level is best?

M works well for most cases, while Q/H is recommended if the QR code may be scratched or partially covered.
